Adult Faith Formation
Join our Newest Bible Study "Conversion" What is the Catholic definition of “conversion”? Contrary to Protestant belief in a “once and done” conversion and salvation, the Catholic view is a bit more nuanced. This study explains how conversion is not so much a one time event, but a life-long process. "Jesus Christ calls us in thousands of different ways to follow Him, as we strive on the path for spiritual excellence," explains Bishop Barron. This Study begins on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Classes will meet in the parish hall from 9 am—11 am AND 6 pm—8 pm every Tuesday for 8 weeks. The class is free. Optional study guide is $14.95 plus shipping. The participant bundle can be ordered at bookstore.wordonfire.org. Please order it early to ensure you receive it by the first class. For more information or questions call the office at 619-445-2145.

Adult Faith Formation and Bible Study
If you have ever had a conversation with someone from another Christian faith tradition, you may have experienced the feeling that they seem to know more about the Bible than you. Queen of Angels is blessed to have had the opportunity to hold Bible studies for many years now.
Bible studies are currently offered Tuesday evenings. The studies we utilize are from Ascension Press, Word on Fire, St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology, and the Augustine Institute. Studies vary from a quick look at salvation history in the Bible to a 26-week study on Church history. Most of the studies offer a video presentation by scholars, discussion time, and reading assignments for the next session.
If you are interested in attending, check the bulletin for upcoming classes. If you are interested in facilitating a class, please contact the parish office at 619-445-2145 or email@example.com.
